CranesY - New online magazine for the lifting industry
In the beginning of 2012 a new news magazine for the lifting industry was launched. KMM Company SA from Switzerland has started the new website on CranesY.com. The online magazine offers news and information from and about the lifting industry. It covers topics about mobile cranes, tower cranes, harbour cranes and all other kind of cranes and lifting equipment. Crane manual Liebherr LTM 1120/1
This morning I received a request from Asia by email. The customer is asking for the manual of a Liebherr telescopic crane type LTM 1120/1. A quick check on G++gle only shows an ebay auction for the crane parts book asking 300 USD for the book. Anyone here who has this manual and may want to give it away? Any help is appreciated.
Construction Apps for iPad and iPhone
Today I found an interesting article for Apple fans on wireropexchange. They have published a list of helpful apps for iPhone and iPad. It contains apps for CAD drawing and design and several kinds of calculators for any possible application. Not mentioned in the list is Drew Merschat's Rigging charts app for the iPhone. Have a look at the list. Maybe you find some useful apps for your daily work in the construction business.
