New LTM 1100-4.1 from Liebherr
Liebherr has unveiled details of the successor for the bestselling LTM 1100-4.1. With 60 meters of telescopic boom the new LTM 1100-4.2 has 8 meters more boom. According to Liebherr the lifting capacities have increased up to 30% in comparison to the LTM 1100-4.1 which was sold more than 350 times.
The seven section main boom is extended with the manufacturers well known rapid-cycle telescopic system "Telematik". The double folding jib (10,8m / 19m) can be prolonged with two 7m lattice sections to a maximum lifting height of 91 meters. With this configuration the maximum working radius is 58 meters. The complete counterweight of 28,2 tonnes is slewing within a radius of 4,11 meters.
Further environments of the new mobile crane are pneumatically operated disc brakes and active rear axle steering. The 4-axle carrier is driven by a Liebherr made 6-cylinder turbodiesel with 350 kW and the AS-Tronic transmission from ZF.
