Spierings launches SK 2400-AT7

The Netherlands-based crane-manufacturer Spierings, has launched its new mobile folding crane, the SK 2400-AT7. Maximum load capacity of the 7-axle crane is 18 tons at 13,4m radius.

The maximum outreach is 42m, where 5 tons can be lifted. The maximum height under hook is 56m when the jib is luffed to 30 degrees. Crane hire Verschoor is the first customer who will take delivery of the new developed crane. Martin Verschoor said that his company has ordered 3 units. Altogether 19 units have been sold to custmers in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the UK. Spierings also announced a crawler version of the SK named SK 2400-R, with extendable crawler tracks and hydraulic outriggers. According to Leo Spierings, the crawler version was sold eight times. Taking the opportunity of this event, Leo Spierings handed over one special unit of the SK 1265-AT6: The 500th crane ever built by the company. The customer is Ridderkerk’s Kraanbedrijf in the Netherlands.
