Manitowoc plant neuen 220 US t Raupenkran
Nach Informationen von Cranes Today baut Manitowoc den Nachfolger für den Raupenkran vom Typ 4100 W. Ausgerüstet wird der Kran mit 86 m Hauptausleger und maximal 113,8 m wippbarer Gitterspitze. Der Antrieb erfolgt mittels eines 340 PS starken Cummins Dieselmotors (Typ QSL 8.9L). Die Hauptwinde arbeitet mit einem maximalen Seilzug von 140 kN. Die Typenbezeichnung für den neuen Kran lautet Manitowoc 14000. Die ersten Auslieferungen sind für Anfang 2007 geplant.
