Manitowoc builts new Model 14000
According to Cranes Today, Manitowoc is working on the successor of the 4100W. The new 220 US tons crawler crane can be equiped with a maximum main boom length of 86 m / 282ft and 113,8 m / 373 ft of luffing jib. The 14000 is powered by a Cummins engine, type QSL 8.9L, with 340 hp / 253 kW. The main drum has a maximum line pull of 140 kN. Manitowoc will start the deliveries of the 14000 in the beginning of 2007.
